Invitation To Write For Pluralism Gazette

I am pleased to invite you to consider writing for “Pluralism Gazette.”

Pluralism is respecting the otherness of the other and accepting the uniqueness of each one of us. Pluralism works in politics, religion, society, business, family, and other areas of life.

Except for human interactions, nature has created everything in harmony. If you look at the universe and everything physical, including our bodies, you will find many items interact within each body or the system to function cohesively. The planets go around the sun in precision, so is the moon around the earth. The earth even tilts itself at determinate angles to give us the life-giving seasons and the story is the same with the human body; all organs have to work in cohesion for us to function normally.

Unlike the planets, plants, and other matters of the universe, which run on autopilot, humans have the “freedom” to chart their equilibrium. Because of the freedom, our interactions cause conflicts and problems, and we have the complete freedom to find solutions. It is our responsibility to restore harmony whenever it veers off the track.

Chief Seattle says it perfectly, “All things are connected. Whatever befalls the earth befalls the sons of the earth. Man did not weave the web of life; he is merely a strand in it. Whatever he does to the webs, he does it to himself.”

If you can write, we can publish it; some guidelines are at https://pluralismgazette.com/writers/

Please note that we expect you to do a thorough grammar and spell-check until we have an editor.

Our first issue will be out on July 4th – a good start time. It will also have a print edition that will go to the Senators, Congressmen, Governors, and a few department heads in our government.

Every article should state the problem in the first paragraph (~100 words) and offer a solution in the last section (~100 words). Keep the article to 850 words. Let the articles be relevant to the current situations. You can choose the category from the website.

We will be adding two forums, namely Political Pluralism and Religious Pluralism forums represented by volunteer individuals from different faith and political affiliations. Once a month, we will ask them to respond to pressing issues in 250 words from their political or religious perspective. We hope to present at least ten faith-based views and four political stances on issues of the day. If you are interested, please let us know.

I was on a panel at Dallas Morning News, called Texas Faith from 2009 through 2014, and wrote 250 such opinions from a pluralistic perspective.

My background in detail is at www.TheGhouseDiary.com, and my work is at www.CenterforPluralism.com.

I have published Asian News Journal for seven years from Dallas, had a radio talk show for about the same time, and produced and anchored my TV show.

After establishing the Center for Pluralism, we are extending the work through the publication of the Pluralism Gazette. CFP is a non-profit organization.

We are looking for Editors, community relations staff members, and assistants to this start-up. We are also looking for supporters and funders for specific projects.
