Featured Annual Events

Unity Day USA

Founded in the spirit of national unity and coexistence following the events of September 11, Unity Day USA is an ongoing initiative dedicated to bringing Americans together across faiths, cultures, races, ethnicities, and backgrounds through dialogue, community engagement, cultural exchange, and shared civic values. By fostering understanding, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence, the event reflects the Center for Pluralism’s enduring commitment to building a more compassionate, inclusive, and cohesive society where diversity is embraced as one of America’s greatest strengths.

Holocaust & Genocides Awareness

The Holocaust & Genocides Awareness initiative was established to honor the memory of millions of innocent lives lost to hatred, violence, intolerance, and human cruelty across history. Through remembrance events, interfaith participation, educational programs, survivor reflections, and public dialogue, the Center for Pluralism seeks to promote empathy, historical awareness, human dignity, and the collective responsibility to stand against antisemitism, extremism, racism, persecution, and all forms of genocide. The initiative serves as a powerful reminder that silence in the face of injustice can never be an option, and that building a more compassionate and cohesive society begins with remembering the tragedies of the past.

July 4th Celebrations

The Center for Pluralism’s July 4th celebrations honor the spirit of American independence while reaffirming the values of unity, freedom, diversity, and equal dignity for all people. Bringing together individuals from different faiths, cultures, ethnicities, and backgrounds, these gatherings celebrate the ideals that strengthen America as a diverse and inclusive nation. Through community participation, interfaith engagement, cultural exchange, and civic dialogue, the events serve as a reminder that patriotism and pluralism can coexist — and that the strength of America lies in its ability to embrace differences while remaining united as one people.

Festivals of Faith

Festivals of Faith is a vibrant interfaith initiative that celebrates the beauty, wisdom, traditions, and cultural richness of the world’s diverse religions and communities. By bringing people together through dialogue, cultural exchange, presentations, and shared experiences, the event creates opportunities for individuals of different faiths and backgrounds to learn from one another, build meaningful relationships, and foster greater understanding and mutual respect. Reflecting the Center for Pluralism’s mission of “respecting the otherness of the other,” Festivals of Faith highlights the shared human values that connect communities beyond religious and cultural differences.

Thanksgiving Celebrations

For decades, the Center for Pluralism’s Thanksgiving gatherings have brought together people from diverse faiths, cultures, ethnicities, and backgrounds in the spirit of gratitude, friendship, dialogue, and community. These celebrations create meaningful opportunities for individuals and families to connect beyond differences, share experiences, strengthen relationships, and reflect on the values that unite humanity.

More than a traditional holiday gathering, these events represent the Center’s continuing commitment to fostering understanding, inclusiveness, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence through shared moments of fellowship, conversation, and community engagement.

Conferences, Workshops & Public Engagements
