The creator of the universe loves His creation the way a mother loves her children, a teacher hopes all of their students succeed, and an inventor desires her creations to work well. A restaurant owner wishes for his customers to enjoy the food, and a CEO wants employees to get along, protect company assets, and foster a positive environment for everyone.
Is God any different?
Because He loves His creation, He guides humanity through holy books, avatars, prophets, and peacemakers, encouraging us to live in peace and harmony with our fellow humans, animals, and the environment. When someone hurts you, every time you hear their name or see their face, it can cause you to feel anger and tension throughout the day. God does not want you to live in this way; He offers you the choice to forgive that person.
Forgiveness is not easy, but when you choose to forgive, the next time you encounter that person, you can experience peace instead of tension. This is God’s love.
